Re: Supporting an already Depressed Partner through Cancer diagnosis

Hi @Former-Member and thank you so much for your ongoing support.  Hi also to anyone else reading.  I wont tag Shaz, Faith&Hope, @Maggie or Enigma here because I have been talking to them all on my own thread. They all know whats been happening, as I have spoken of some of this on my thread. Hi guys if you do read this.  Heart

Lately I have been using my Lived Experience thread for some personal support. I've needed it lately. Woman Sad  But I keep meaning to update here too. I will keep it very brief today however, as I have been in a bad place myself. Which is the reason I've been posting to my PTSD thread.

Hubby has been extremely depressed and speaking of suicide for the past month or more.  Since his month long hospitalisation he remains very ill with bad mobility and a bad place mentally as well.

My brother also has been in a bad way and we have been speaking on the phone a lot lately.  It was 3 years last week since the death of his little daughter. So all that is weighing very heavily on him and his family.  His physical health too is suffering, with some ongoing serious problems he is needing to deal with along the way.

Sorry this is a bit disjointed.  My concentration is 'up the creek' lately.  Really just wanted to say thank you .... Heart

Eagles did it @Former-Member  what a finish.

Re: Supporting an already Depressed Partner through Cancer diagnosis

They did @Former-Member, and they did it well. It was a rivetting game, even though neither are my team.

Brings back memories of the Swans v Eagles tustles that resulted in less than a goal wins.
