I agree, I too feel pretty deflated and saddened.  Although I always suspected the election results would go the way they did, despite all the polls saying otherwise.  A scare campaign against a reformist visionary alternative Govt, obiviously worked. So its to be a continuation of what we've been getting for the last 6 years ... same old ... same old. Although I think, in general, we are pretty well off overall in Aust ... it could be much better.  I suppose all that will need to wait.
